Cleaning up our air

By tapping the energy of the sun hitting the rooftops of America and the power of the wind blowing off our coasts and across the country, we can meet the energy needs of every household in the nation. On June 30, San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro got us closer to this goal, when he announced that the city-owned utility will retire the polluting Deely power plant by the year 2018 and replace its power with clean energy investments.
